Come by our office on September 13 for our job fair. We are hiring for personal care attendants for our In-Home Personal Care Services. At the job fair, you can apply and interview on site. Our program directors will be there to guide you through the process and answer any questions you might have.

Personal Care Attendants Duties:

• Performs routine household chores such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making bed, washing dishes, washing, ironing and mending when the service recipient is unable to manage the home for self

• Prompting, cueing, supervision and/or assistance with bathing, grooming, skin care, dressing, toileting, transfers, positioning and mobility

• Performs preparation of and/or provide education about the preparation of nutritious appetizing meals

• Works as part of interdisciplinary team

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation as required by program guidelines

• Attends in-service and scheduled training

Personal Care Assistants are NOT to engage in activities such as the following:

• Wound Care - including wound dressing changes

• Administering medication

• Administering tube feedings

• Giving enemas or irrigating catheters

• Transportation of clients to appointments, etc.
