Tammy Pierce

Development and Corporate Outreach

Tammy Pierce joined Meritan in August 2000 as the Human Resource Generalist. In the spring of 2008, she was promoted to Director of Development Compliance and expanded into Corporate Outreach in the spring of 2014. In July 2018, she was promoted to the Associate Vice President of Development.

Tammy is a 1995 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is a member of the Grant Professional Association, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Public Relations Co-Chair of Tennessee Community Organizations.  She is a 2013 graduate of the NHPO Memphis Leadership Institute. 

Tammy is an active volunteer in her daughter's school PTO, Parent Advisory Board, and volunteer girl’s youth basketball and volleyball coach (with a proud 78-13 record). She is also on the Board of Directors of the Ole Miss Band Alumni Club. She is active in her church, is a member of the church's Finance Council, Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Hernando Chamber of Commerce. She also enjoys cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels.
